What things can I do to help ?
Presently there is a small team of people helping to raise the £480,000 (revised April 2010) needed to complete this project; why not join them? We need people with a variety of skills to get involved with this appeal. If you are interested and are able to help please contact the Church Office on 01753 580 467.
Donate goods for auction
We are currently in the process of setting up an Ebay-account where we will auction off donated articles for the benefit of the new Church Community Centre. If you want to declutter your home and have any special articles you would like to donate, please contact the Church Office on 01753 580 467.

Over 500 UK retailers have signed up to give a percentage or a fixed amount of every online purchase to every online purchase to good causes at no extra cost to you as consumer. Visit www.easyfundraising.org.uk where we have registered as "St Mary's Church Room Datchet". Please sign up, choose us as your cause, and every time you shop online go through this site first before you make a purchase.
A few examples: Switching car or home insurance can raise up to £45 for our appeal. Booking a holiday (flights, hotels and/or rental cars) can raise up to £2.50 for every £100 you spend. Shopping on Amazon also gives 2.5%. Switching broadband, your mobile phone or gas/electricity provider or applying for a new credit card will also lead to major donations.
